Who We Are

Welcome to E² Academy, where we believe that children learn best in a holistic, well-rounded and uplifting environment. Here, we do more than just educate — we also nurture hearts and minds. We connect our students with devoted, distinguished teachers who can arouse a desire for excellence in different aspects of life: not just in accomplishments, but in conduct and values. Through meaningful experiences and personalized guidance, we empower each student to strive for and achieve their fullest potential, while growing in both character and purpose.

Co-founded by Dr. Eslyn McDonald-Burris and Dr. Ellis Burris in 2025, E² Academy (named in their honor) serves children ages 5-11. E² Academy is not a religious or denominational school; it is open to children of all faiths. However, it is Bahá’í-inspired and therefore its underlying values and philosophy reflect the core principles of the faith. Bahá’ís believe in the supremacy of God; that God is One, Humanity is One and Religion is One.

The academy is housed in a newly constructed, air-conditioned state-of-the-art building and offers seven classrooms, a modern audio-visual suite and a dynamic, open-concept layout that encourages collaboration and creativity.  We prioritize a low student-teacher ratio to ensure each child receives the attention and support they need to grow and flourish during their time here and beyond.
